Now Nixie has been wanting to learn about the ocean, I really love how home ed allows us to follow her lead and to go wherever her heart desires. A while back a fisherman had given us a starfish he found so we spent a little time learning about them and doing some related arts and crafts. Here's one of them. I've discovered that Nixie really loves themes and to do projects as we go along and I must say I love it too
