Bee Art with Potato Stamping!
Bee Themed Potato Stamps
We had so much fun playing with these potato stamps that Kevin so lovingly made for us. All thanks to the inspiration from our Little Naturalist's Subscription box. Nixie really enjoyed it and even made some Red tailed bumblebees which seems to have become her favourite.
What You'll Need:
- Potatos
- knife or blade to carve
- acrylic paints in various colours
- paper
- paintbrushes
- pencil
- scissor
- pins
How To Do It:
1. First create a stencil of the pattern you want to do. Some good shapes are the stem of a flower, a leaf, a circle, a flower with a circle cut out of the centre and of course a bee!
2. Cut out your stencil and attach it to your potato with some pins.
3. Carefully cut out your shapes.
4. Now they are ready to be used! Add paint with a paintbrush and press down on your paper! Have fun and be creative!
